Welcome to Adibeir Cane Corso.  We are a small hobby breeder that has been quietly living with the Cane Corso since 2001.  We pride ourselves on the fact that we have been able to accomplish what we have without the need or desire to produce hundreds of puppies. Limited breedings over 3 generations have produced conformation champions, obedience titles, a CCAA Reproduction Champion and cherished family members.

Our love of the Cane Corso started the better part of 2 decades ago. Our appreciation for the breed is directly related to our background in agriculture.  Dennis grew up on a working farm.  He is a retired farrier.  I managed a seedstock Limousin cattle herd after college.  The utilitarian nature of the Cane Corso along with their history on the farms of Italy endears the breed to us.  I had to have one of these "farm dogs" that was unlike the norm in this country.  The rest as they say is history.

We also have Miniature American Shepherds aka "Mini Aussies".  A more traditional American style farm dog.  While not currently breeding Minis the knowledge, mentorship and friendships we have gained while training and raising this breed are priceless.

We no longer live in a rural setting but both breeds are intelligent, highly trainable and adaptive to our current lifestyle.  We choose not to keep a large number of dogs.  This is a hobby that involves training and competing with the dogs that live in our household.  We are active in AKC conformation and obedience.  The occasional litter is considered when there is something that we are hoping for from a specific pairing.  Puppies are raised in our home, underfoot.  We work very hard to give them every opportunity to become well adjusted dogs.  This is just as beneficial to puppies that will be placed into pet homes as those that will be placed or retained as show prospects.  Every litter is a huge commitment of time and personal resources.

We strive to produce a dog of stable temperament, good health and a stellar example of the breed.
